Because it is LGPL-3.0, it is served as a standalone file rather than bundled with our other code, with the full licence texts (<a href="/vendor/libheif/COPYING.LESSER">LGPL</a>, <a href="/vendor/libheif/COPYING">GPL</a>) alongside it, so you are free to replace it and relink.
